Description: Feast Your Eyes is opening up a new multidimensional space in Adelaide St Fremantle. The space is dedicated to multiple facets of the art and design profession. Comprising of work spaces, a gallery, educational work- shops, product retail and the beginnings of a resource centre for our artists and designers.

The inaugural exhibition Kings Crooks Castles by artist Twenty Eleven. King Crooks Castles is an intimate insight into Twenty Elevens characteristic view of his world today. Presenting works of sculpture, screen print and paint, Twenty Eleven references his local surroundings using metals, wood and natural objects as inspiration.

Feast Your Eyes invites you to view the exceptional body of work from one of the most prominent Western Australia's emerging artists Twenty Eleven.

Artist in Residence Program @ Central Greenough historical settlement

Event Title: Central Greenough Artist in Residence Program.

Description: The Central Greenough Artist in Residence Program, presented by the City of Greater Geraldton and National Trust, provides successful applicants the opportunity to work and live in the Central Greenough historical settlement for a period of one day to four weeks.

Artists of all disciplines (including dance, inter-arts, media arts, music, theatre, visual arts, and writing and publishing) from all places are invited to apply.

Central Greenough, located 23 km south of Geraldton WA, comprises a varied group of stone buildings in a rural landscape setting. Its twenty buildings reflect stories of religion, commerce, education, social lives, transport, communication, governance and administration.

Artists may (subject to approval) undertake activities throughout the Settlement, and at cultural facilities and schools throughout Greater Geraldton. These facilities include the Queens Park Theatre, Regional Library, and several art galleries and museums.

Building upon the success of our 2011 debut, this eclectic exhibition is comprised of paintings and sculptures under the dual themes of Australiana‚ and Childhood‚ generously donated by a wonderful array of emerging and established artists.

All artworks will be available for sale via live auction on opening night, with all proceeds donated to the Telethon Adventures in support of their ongoing commitment to children and families affected by childhood cancer.

Matt Donelly from Alan Donelly Auctions will be conducting the auction at our opening night event which also features the presentation of the Fiona Stanley Art Award, a live art display by Perth stencil artist I'm the Boss and special guests including Sharron the famous‚ as MC.

All are welcome to come along and enjoy glorious art in good company for a great cause.

The exhibition runs for a week, with all works on display in the Claremont Art Framers and Gallery showroom until 22 Nov 2012.
