Event Title: Making Waves for the Kimberley: Art Fundraiser.

Description: This World Ocean's Day (June 8th) the Wilderness Society WA cordially invites you to Making Waves for the Kimberley, an evening of art, live flamenco guitar from Brandon Lewis, delectables, drinks and celebrations, MC James Lush from the ABC and guest speaker Prof. Carmen Lawrence, Chair of the Australian Heritage Council. The event is a fundraiser, featuring a diverse collection of beautiful artworks and well-known artists' works for silent auction. The proceeds of the event will raise money for our Court Case against the Environment Protection Authority.

Description: Fascinated by the ideology and architectural visions of expressionist architect Bruno Taut, David's intricate and highly saturated juxtapositions of oscillating planes and geometric forms floating above the landscape, explore the notion of the architectural visionary and the mystical visionary experience. Ambitious in scale and complexity, David's highly seductive paint surfaces, jewel like palette and meticulous eye for detail deliver an immersive experience. A heady mix of utopian ideals, geometry, colour, and painterly process, David's paintings offer a glimpse into another realm.

Future Generation @ Memorial Hall

Event Title: Future Generation: Renewable Energy Public Art Exhibition.

Description: The City of Cockburn is hosting a Renewable Energy Public Art Exhibition, which will showcase visions for a sustainable future.

One of the entries will be chosen to be commissioned as a piece of public art.

Local artists have submitted models of their vision of a sustainable future in the City of Cockburn.

Moira de la Hunty and Tané Andrews @ Heathcote Museum and Gallery

Description: Time is a factor which remains constant in a busy, changing world. Even with advanced technology, we cannot alter its pace. Time is a major subject of religion, philosophy and science, but its written definition often eludes us.

In this exhibition, the artists will show how they consider time and its effects. The detailed works are produced slowly with dedication and care. Although the artists choose different subjects and media, there is a shared physical sense in the works, as well as in the subtle expression of time.

Dates: 25 May 2013 to 30 June 2013.

Description: Heathcote Museum & Gallery are now calling for exhibition proposals for the 2014 program.

Deadline for 2014 applications is COB Monday, 17 June 2013.

The Gallery invites proposals from emerging and established artists, curators, community groups and people wanting to exhibit material within a social history context. The Gallery develops exhibitions in-house, by invitation and through artist proposals.
