Wade Taylor @ Spectrum Project Space

Event Title: Fertile, Free

Venue: Spectrum Project Space,
Building 3.191, 2 Bradford Street, Perth, Australia 6050.

Description: In Fertile, Free, Wade Taylor explores the potential and
charged nature of the Vacant and highlights the tension between the
stillness and the promise of empty landscapes and abandoned spaces.

Taylor's work suggests the void of human presence and the energy that
lingers in these familiar and pedestrian scenes...it's parks, underpasses,
toilet blocks and car parks.

Wade Taylor is an emerging artist from Perth, Western Australia. He
completed a Bachelor in Fine Arts at the University of Western Australia in
2012 with a focus on painting, film, and multi-media installation. While
working primarily with paint, his practice often extends to include
investigations in collage and ceramics. Taylor has had successful solo
exhibitions at Free Range and Paper Mountain.
