Description: Acclaimed Noongar bush sculptor Janine McAullay Bott's weaves reflect her way of visualising her people; their culture, and the unique sense of humour they possess. Her weaves are culturally significant, ever-evolving and include woven animals and objects utilising palm fronds, local grasses, reeds and twigs. Janine's work reflects her Noongar heritage including the animals and country of her ancestors.
YUDARN, a Noongah word meaning 'to tie', is Janine McAullay Bott's first solo exhibition in Perth.
