Venue:
ABD The Gallery
240 Lake Street Northbridge
Description: ABD the Gallery proudly presents the latest solo exhibition of Neil Elliott's artwork 'A Few of My Favourite Things'‚ which is opening on December 4th.
In this unique and colourful body of work Neil Elliott presents his favourite things. Neil was inspired by a newspaper article telling of a nine year old girl who drew her favourite things in her room.
Using a combination of acrylic, gesso, aluminium and bitumen putty on board, Elliott experiments with different mediums and attaches objects to his paintings as it makes painting more interesting and unpredictable.
In his use of bold and vivid colours Elliott's works are vibrant and enchanting. And the images themselves show evidence of a painter who revels in the medium and the freedom of art itself.
