Description

Looking for a creative way to kick start your school holidays? If yes, come check out the KickstART Festival Day on Saturday, 8 April 2017. It is the major event for WA's largest youth arts festival, and National Youth Week celebration, the 2017 KickstART Festival!

This year's Festival Day will feature a huge range of free events including:
- An arts market featuring 60+ stallholders consisting of 12-26 year old local artists
- 30+ Creative workshops (including block printing, puppet making, and performance improvisation)
- Exhibitions and interactive installations
- Live performances

Live acts on the day will include:
- Ru
- The Barundi Band and Peace Choir
- The West Australian Youth Jazz Orchestra
Plus many more from HyperFest's 2017 line-up!

KickstART is hosted by Propel Yotuh Arts WA in conjunction with the Department of Local Government and Communities and will run from 31 March – 23 April 2017. During this time there will to be a large and eclectic variety of special events, workshops, and exhibits, which will all be free to 12-26 year olds. This year's festival theme is Eco-Futures.

*All workshops are free but places must be booked.
*Stallholders cannot accept EFTPOS payments but ATMs are located close to the venue.
*There is limited parking available but the venue is easily accessible by public transport and close to bus and train stations.
