Description: Following on from the success of the Noongar Pop Culture language revival project, comes Noongar Pop Culture 2.

CAN WA has again teamed up with Narrogin Senior High School to deliver an innovative community art exhibition of bespoke fashion garments and photographs designed and created by Noongar girls in years 8-10.

Ian Williams @ Free Range Gallery

Description: A solo exhibition of new works by Perth-based artist Ian Williams.

OPEN WORLD is an exploration of experience and familiarity within virtual environments, and how the screen operates as both a window and a barrier, separating the illusion from the physical world.

Working directly from live video games, Williams investigates the photographic believability within these spaces while being mindful of their simplistic origins. This visual seduction inevitably ends when his avatar is killed, typically by traumatic means.

Members of the Ceramic Arts Association of WA @ Heathcote Museum & Gallery

Event Title: CAAWA Members Selective Exhibition 2015.
Participating Artists: Members of the Ceramic Arts Association of WA.

Venue: Heathcote Museum & Gallery, Heathcote Cultural Centre, 58 Duncraig

Description: A showcase of recent ceramic works produced by members of the
Ceramic Arts Association of WA.

Established in 1993, the Ceramic Arts Association of WA (CAAWA) is a not for
profit organisation run by members aiming to promote all aspects of handmade
pottery and ceramic sculpture.

This exhibition includes a varied selection of ceramic pieces by students,
hobbyists and professional potters.

Visitors are invited to vote in the People's Choice Award, a $500 prize
awarded to the artist with the most popular piece. The exhibition will also
announce the winners of the 2015 Kusnik Award and Judge's Award.

Dates: 11 July 2015 to 16 August 2015.

Susan Respinger @ The Basement Gallery

Description: First solo exhibition of Susan Respinger. This exhibition is
a varied combination of realist artworks and bright, bold, stylized
artworks. There are a combination of acrylic on canvas and graphite
drawings on water colour paper. Most of the work has a fun, quirky sense of
humour and a focus on contrast and depth.
