Description: Art Works, an exciting new initiative by the City of Wanneroo,
is a pop-up art event featuring local artwork for sale.
Occurring three times each year, Art Works allows the community to view and
purchase locally produced artworks, from the heart of Wanneroo at the
Wanneroo Library and Cultural Centre.
Art Works promotes local creative talent by providing artists with an
opportunity to exhibit and offer their works for sale direct to the public
in a gallery setting within our Conference Room. Art tutors will be
promoting their services, providing a forum for the local community to
investigate new ways to engage in artistic endeavours.
If you're looking to purchase a new artwork for your home, invest in a piece
for your collection or become actively involved in the visual arts, come to
Art Works at the Wanneroo Library and Cultural Centre.

As part of an installation in 'Improbable Returns', Christopher requests
that visitors to the opening night event bring a small bundle of newspapers

adventure of discovering a new image each day. This exhibition is a true
celebration - not only of Smith's 100th Birthday but also of life and of
having the courage to unleash the creative power we all have within us - at

Sue Allwood creates unique sepia etchings taking inspiration from local
flora found near her home in Fremantle. Narayani Palmer explores landscapes
which are depicted in her ceramics and enhanced by the objects found during
her exploration. Marika Leonard is fascinated by the vessel both in its
functional and decorative form. All of these elements have been brought
together to form a striking exhibition.

and training that revels in an exhausted euphoria.

of a man, a woman and a duck. It dissects the excruciating realms of human
behavior in an attempt to navigate the moral and ethical complexities of
becoming a better person.
A woman sees a man throwing stones at a duck. Threaded between observations
and memories of this brief encounter with a stranger are philosophical
musings about peace and conflict, moral relativism, the ethics of
intervention and the very function of art..

Description: Visit Collie Art Gallery to see Diverse Print - an exhibition
of works by members of The South West Printmakers.
The art of printmaking is a passion, which once discovered can easily become
an obsession, as this group of diverse but highly experienced artists will
agree.
Each individual artist practices their own unique style within a diverse
range of printmaking methods, stretching the parameters of the medium, some
taking printmaking techniques into photography, installation, artist's books
and sculpture.
