Tom Mùller @ Heathcote Museum & Gallery

Description: In 1828 Captain James Stirling considers Heathcote as the site for Western Australia's capital city. What if Heathcote had been chosen over Perth? For Tilt 2011, Tom Muller will develop a series of fictional scenarios inspired by past residents, events and history of the site. Borrowing from a multidisciplinary approach including film, installations and found objects, the artist will present a multi-facetted interpretation of Heathcote if it were Western Australia's capital city.

Description: In this exhibition we have three artist's of note. Michael Vincent Murphy presents us with tranquil landscapes featuring birdlife, complimented by his more recognisable quirky still life works.

Peter Bowles and Anne Clifton have worked together(and individually) to create stunning glass forms; layers of gold leaf and colour, murrine and canework are just some of the mastered effects and techniques. The opening is on the 5th November at 6.00pm and is also a fundraising event for the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
