Description: Greenhill Galleries is pleased to present The Botany of Beauty, a series of bold and breathtaking floral works by Melbourne-based artist, Christine Johnson.
Capturing luminous imagery of both exotic and native flora, Johnson‚s oil paintings beautifully imagine the details of the floral landscape while almost dissolving into abstraction. Her unique visual language instils a sense of visual vigour that is tinged with delicacy, thereby portraying the dynamics of nature.
