Each year, more than 100 photographs are considered for selection in the annual Walkley Awards – the pinnacle of achievement for Australian press photographers judged by industry experts and awarded in November. After the awards, the Nikon-Walkley Press Photography Exhibition hits the road to give a wide audience a glimpse into the outstanding moments in sport, daily life and news reportage captured during 2013.
