Description: Entries for Emerge 2016 close on 31 July.
The theme for this year is 'Unseen'

Young artists aged 12 - 25 years are invited to enter two dimensional
artworks such as print, photography, painting and drawing based on this
year's theme. A prize pool of $2,000 will be awarded in the following
categories:

People's Choice Award First Prize

The event will be held on August 20 at John Leckie Pavilion. The free
exhibition is open to the public and will showcase the artworks of local
young people. There will also be live music, food and giveaways. Voting for
the People's Choice Award will take place at the exhibition, with an awards
ceremony for all categories.

Monday 15 August, 2pm to 6pm: Artwork must be delivered to John Leckie
Pavilion, College Park, cnr Melvista Ave and Stone Rd, Nedlands

Saturday 20 August, 2pm to 6pm: Exhibition at John Leckie Pavilion

Monday 22 August, 2pm to 6pm: Collection of artwork from John Leckie
Pavilion
