Event Title: Small Change. Participating Artists: Maria Hildrick. Venue: Free Range Gallery, 399 Wellington Street, Perth. Description: Small Change exhibits a series of diptychs exploring change by Perth based artist Maria Hildrick. Change can be as subtle as it can be stark and sometimes it is the lack of change that is significant. Working in pairs allows for several dialogues to exist and obvious change in some will be a clue to the viewer as to how the more subtle images can be read. Throughout her practice Maria has referenced imagery of her own past in order to illustrate her subject matter. This process draws parallels to the way in which we refer back to our own past in order to navigate our present. Dates: 14th September 2012 to 19th September 2012. Opening Times: Open daily, 1 - 6pm.
